UNITED WAY OF ONSLOW COUNTY HAS A NEW HOME
We have incredible news! Thanks to the amazing Jacksonville Volunteer Firefighters and Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern North Carolina, we have the opportunity to renovate and restore the first townhall, police station, and fire station in our community - which also happens to have the longest running volunteer fire department in our state!
Let's come together and restore this historic building to serve our community once again! Together, we can make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors!
WHY MOVE?
The ownership of the building has changed hands, and United Way of Onslow County needs to carry out a $565,300 renovation for effective delivery of programs. The plans include expanding the Children Healthy Eating on Weekends and the Volunteer Resource Center, aligning with the shift in the organization's vision to focus on community impact.
